[Despite this clarification, his tired eyes still look heavy with self-disappointment.] ...and I... I shouldn't be acting like I expect you to be used to it, either... it's not fair to think you should just be okay with me breaking my bones on a regular basis.
[Winston takes Ray's hand in his own, squeezing it softly as a reminder of his presence. He still hasn't had the chance to forget about being told they fell into the ocean without him, here, but he doesn't like hearing Ray undercut himself.]
...sure doesn't feel like nothing now. [He laughs weakly- a sharp, pained inhale cutting him off midway.]
[Ray looks even more concerned at Winston's pained inhale.]
Okay I'm bringing you inside and patching you up. You're also getting Ray Stantz's patented hot chocolate using Gogoat milk. The milk has healing qualities so it should help any pain you have!
[Or he could go to the hospital but why do that.
Ray carries Winston back into their room (Speed Racer floating slowly behind them and staring at them through the window), and places Winston gently on the bed.]
Now you stay here, I'm gonna get some bandages and ointment!
