[Luckily the roaring doesn't scare him at all, but he's confused to see this giant green dragon. They're cute, whoever they are, but Ray's wracking his brain to figure out who this child is.
And then suddenly it hits him. The color is different, but he remembers reading about this Pokemon..]
[Lambton considers this for a moment, then lets go of both Egon and Ray. The only problem is that he was holding them up in the air. Egon lands hard on his feet and winces, trying to maintain his balance.]
...Thank you.
[Lambton lets out a soft mooing noise and pushes his nose up against Ray's hand. He wants pats now.]
You did! Apparently one of your ancestors summoned a dragon a long time ago and when he woke up he saw you as a dad.
[He's gonna cuddle Lambton a ton while he says this.]
I think you really liked him, but you refused to let us know that. We had to put him back to sleep eventually, because he was getting way too big and was becoming a danger to everyone around us. But I do miss him sometimes.
[Lambton lets out a small Dragon Snort, his wings fluttering happily as Ray pets him. He can always rely on Ray for pets!
Egon, meanwhile, frowns, scratching the back of his head. He glances between Ray and Lambton.]
You managed to see a fully grown dragon before-- [He stops himself. Why does Ray's dimension get all the cool stuff?] Nevermind. What observations did you manage to record about the dragon, itself? Was it a wyvern? A lindwyrm?
Hey when we figure out how to teleport between dimensions, I should take you on some busts! We could even stop by Nass Burg so you could see the dragon for yourself.
[Don't tell his dimension's Egon, please.]
He seemed to be a hybrid of a wyvern and a lindwyrm. It was pretty long and serpentine but also pretty chunky, for lack of a better term. He kind of reminded me of an Aeolosaurus with wings and horns, actually.
And he was as big as many New York City buildings.
[Egon nods, scratching his chin. He feels as though the other Egon might protest regarding that, but he's not sure whether or not to bring it up.]
As big...as many...skyscrapers. [Egon repeats Ray's words slowly, frowning. After a pause, he tilts his head.] How could a several hundred foot tall dragon escape notice for so long, even while asleep? Most wells do not accommodate this amount of space. Unless it was exceptionally thin.
[Lambton is quite quickly bored by Egon's talking and lets out a soft bellow, straightening up and roughly patting Ray on the head. His tail swishes back and forth, probably knocking over a few things. He wants to go outside!]

Lambton?!
[Son?!]

Egon pokes his head into the room, stethoscope hanging off his neck. He sees Lambton and says--]
Ray! Are you alright?

Ray grins as Egon enters the room, seemingly unaffected by the fact that he could die from hugs.]
H... hi Egon! Lambton is big now.

[Oh, God.
Egon hurries over to try and pry Lambton's arms off Ray in vain. Lambton moves his arm a bit, but only to scoop Egon into the hug as well.
Now they're both dying. It's fine. Egon pushes up at Lambton's head, grimacing.]
Let go of us immediately, please. Now.

[Oof this is really tight though. He strains to look up at Lambton in hopes to reason with him.]
Hey Lambton? You think you can loosen your grip a tiny bit? I love you but I can barely breath right now.

...Thank you.

He's absolutely adorable now! I'm so jealous Egon; how come you get so many cute dragons?
[He says as he nuzzles this precious dragon.]

What are you talking about? Lambton is the only dragon in my possession, if you discount Riley.
no subject
[Oh.]
Right, we're from different dimensions so you might not have experienced that. You remember Zedikiah Spengler?
[You remember him right??]

I am...not sure. The name sounds familiar, but--
[...]
I had a dragon?
