[Camille goes flying at the impact, bouncing off the wall, the ceiling, and the floor in quick succession. Venkman doesn't appear to notice, too enamored with the cat.]
Gotta introduce this guy to Tarantula. And. Garfield.
[The softer, excited expression on his face immediately fades as Ray speaks up. It only continues to darken as he elaborates.]
... What did you do.
[He sounds. So disappointed.
Camille's momentum dies out after one last bounce against the wall, and she floats aimlessly for a few seconds, trying to regain her bearings. Then she uses Protect on herself and rams into Bean's head again.]
In my defense, it sounded funnier when I first picked the name.
[It's a hit! However, with the level difference it doesn't do a whole lot besides tick him off. Bean backs up and rams back up to Camille with all his strength.
[She likes it very much, because the Protect's shield is still up, so all Bean is going to get from it is a headache. Maybe. Goats probably don't get headaches from headbutting they're too used to it.
Camille's burbling starts to sound like laughter.]
Ray. Ray, you can't do this to me. How many Garfield-related Pokemon names are you guys gonna give me? Egon already tried naming Tarantula after Nermal and I shut him down, you didn't even give this guy a chance!
[He's not actually mad. Mostly. The Meowth purrs, completely unaware of what's going on but happy to be here.]
[Yeah, that Leech Life is too much for her. She's just a baby, after all, and it's super-effective. But if she's gonna be beat, she's gonna have the last laugh.
As soon as Camille realizes she's about to faint, she psychically screams in pain, the not-sound ringing in everyone's ears, before falling to the ground, completely exhausted. The attack didn't really hurt that badly, but she's counting on at least one of the two trainer's taking the bait.]
Jesus Christ- what'd your goat do to her?
[If she could move her mouth enough for it, the Solosis would be smirking.]

[God, he still hates saying that name out loud.]

However, hearing Venkman mention Garfield makes him even more worried and he turns his attention entirely to him.]
Actually, Venkie, there's something I gotta tell you.
[Ray gives Venkman the most innocent look possible.]
They miiiiight only respond to the name "Nermal".
[Smiles.]

Hey Camille, how do you like Take Down?]

... So how about a nice RAZOR LEAF!]
Aww c'mon, Peter! I promise this is the last one. The next cat I give you will not have a Garfield name, really!
[A pause.]
I'd say you could name one of my Pokemon in the future, but I'm kind of scared what you would name one of my Pokemon.

[The Razor Leaf hits! The blades cut through her cytoplasm like paper, and she looks pretty weakened.
And then she uses Pain Split to even the odds.]
Good. You better be afraid. I've got fifteen years of dirt on you, Stantz.

[Bean shouts in pain. You jerk! That's just dirty!
... So how about a nice Leech Life.]
