[They had been walking down Route 36 for days through the frigid weather. When Egon and Ray finally entered Goldenrod, the two had made a beeline for the magnet train station. The heated facilities were a welcome change from the endless snow-covered paths.
Venkman had messaged them a few hours before they reached the edge of the city--and kept messaging them. Evidently, he was excited to be on the train.
Egon is...well, it's hard to tell. He's excited and anxious and apprehensive and a whole mess of other emotions that can hardly be processed or unpacked, though one could never tell from his expression alone. He's hardly said a word since they arrived at the train station, and he keeps checking his watch every few minutes, scuffing his feet against the ground. Faraday hovers over his shoulder, gazing out among the crowds of people and occasionally glancing in Egon's direction with concern.
